Palm Beach Gardens-based medical real estate developer Sina Cos. has merged with Atlanta-based Donati Health Partners, which is in the same field.
The company remains based in Palm Beach Gardens, while Damian Donati, the founder of the Atlanta firm, has joined as senior VP. Donati has worked on about 5 million square feet of health care projects in more than 34 states. His current projects in Florida, South Carolina, Mississippi and Colorado will move to Sina Cos. for completion.
“Damian has more than three decades of experience in the health care real estate business, and he is known to be an exceptionally knowledgeable executive of high integrity by key members of our team,” said Malcolm Sina, executive chairman of Sina Cos. “His long and impressive track record and breadth of expertise in medical facilities bring much more to the table than simply new business development skills. His extensive background in architecture, space planning and leasing make him an exceptional resource for Sina Companies and for our clients.”
The team at Sina Cos. has developed more than 4 million square feet of medical real estate and acquired an additional 1.7 million square feet over the past 24 years. Its projects include HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Petersburg in Virginia; Methodist North at Allen Road in Peoria, Illinois; and St. Francis Millennium in Greenville, South Carolina.
